Book Signing with Kristen Simmons

I was so excited when I found out the amazing author Kristen Simmons was going to be at our Joseph Beth Bookstore in Crestview Hills.   

I just knew I had to go to this signing.  So I went ahead and ordered me a few copies from Amazon, that way I knew I would have copies already.  Then of course I ended up buying a copy from the bookstore as well.  All in total I had 4 books for her to sign.  

But anyway, when Kristen Simmons came in the room I was so amazed at how she made us all feel like it was just another day talking to friends.  She was great! She didn't stand at the podium and talk down to us, no she sat in a chair, with us and told us about herself and her amazing book Article 5.   

She also did a great reading, one of the best I've heard so far.  Kristen Simmons, knows her book and she is perfection when reading it.  Then after all that, we played a game! That's right I said a game and she brought door prizes. 

She had each of us take a piece of paper and write down what was our strengths that way she would know who would be good on Team Simmons if something, like in her book, happened.  The answers were so funny and great and the game was so fun! I ended up winning one of the prizes and she laughed and went nuts over my answer.  

Everyone else that won, each got a magnent of her book cover and a pack of 5 gum! I on the other hand got this: 

 

Oh and my answer you may ask, well lets see I put I am a people Person, will speak my mind and that I have a great speaking voice...then on the bottom

  I added I Write Amazing Reviews.  She loved it!!!

It was great getting to meet Kristen Simmons and she signed all my books as well...I got one for my mom, one for my boy friend, one for me of course, then one for my 500 follower Giveaway, and of course that means one of you will win it, if you enter to win! 

I want to thank Kristen so much for the mouse pad and for signing my books, plus for the other thing you gave me and I will cherish that.  I am going to be hanging it up on my wall as soon as I get a frame for it.  

Kristen and Joseph Beth was nice enough to let me have the Event Poster (see top picture) and Kristen even signed it for me.  So thanks so much!!! 

All in all it was a great night filled with laughter and great book discussion! Thanks again Kristen and Joseph Beth Bookstore for the great night.

The Night Circus Event- Author signing and Question and Answer Session

I was so excited to get the chance to meet the amazing author of The Night Circus! She was at our Joseph Beth Book Store last night in Crestview Hills Mall.  I am really starting to love this new book store.  We usually don't have to many authors come our way, but this book store is so amazing that I've gotten to meet two now. 

Erin Morgenstern, was great as she read a passage of her tremendous book The Night Circus.  Then she proceeded with a question and answer session that ended up like a book discussion.  It was a great time spending the time with her and all the people that were there last night.  

I wanted to get some of the questions and answers down, so my boyfriend Josh went and got me a notebook and I took notes lol.  So here is a few of the great questions that she was great at answering.  These are all from my notes!!!
